Impact of Sound

Scene: Physics Tuition

Scene: At home

Now, he coughs and she turns again, this time with a stern look. He stole the ice-cream she had bought for their grandson.

Love is intact but the impact created by sound at 17 and 71 is not the same anymore.

This is in response to the ‘Weekend Writing Prompt’ by Sammi Cox. The word prompt for this week is ‘impact’, and the challenge is to limit a piece of prose or poem to exactly 67 words.
