Cascade

Even after losing the kaleidoscope, her obsession didn’t fade. She eventuated to become a microbiologist for the love of patterns.


Here, cascade means the succession of stages or operations.

This is in response to the ‘Twenty-Words Tuesday’ prompt by Akanksha Singh @ BulbulThe challenge is to write a story in exactly 20 words for the prompt word kaleidoscope.
