Disappearance

“I thought you’d leave me, forever”.

As a new norm, they communicate and discuss their deeply troubling issues in the relationship to strengthen the bond. But, this was totally unexpected. It’s not even a thought that has crossed the poor mind or that could even be imagined!

Unforgotten

Unexpected twist of fate rolled out
Unfurling unfortunate circumstances.
Untold words and
Unexpressed feelings remain
Unopened not just in one but two hearts.

Unclear and unsure, they fork with
Unblemished flashes of tender memories.
Unkind, is how it all feels when
Unlikely evocations stay rooted, leaving an
Ungrown persona of one tendril heart within the other.

Twilight

crepuscular rays
popular daze of blue streaks
musical light show
stellar stars steal the party
as pendulous pearl proceeds

Trapped at a Viewpoint

Have you ever struggled to get out of your frame of mind, and lost peace? This is a poem that depicts such a circumstance.

My happiness is history.
I had wings colorful and bright.
Out of the blue,
I got trapped in a misery jar.

Difficult to breathe,
I played along as far as I could.
I sat with my pain, and
Acknowledged its presence.
