Discovering Scattered Stars

I'm star-struck.
Share some light.
Make me feel light.

In you, I see
The vastness of my spirit
Spread over infinite space.

I search and soar
Beneath the bed of stars
In depths of the surreal sky.

I gaze up high
Among those endless spots
Connecting the complex dots.

My shattered dreams
Now appear only scattered,
Ready to beam as shining stars.

Beautiful poem, the comparison of shattered dreams as the scattered shiny stars evokes pictures in the mind. Well written…

    1. Thank you, sir. Sometimes, the dreams that we think can’t be replenished after a failure can be given life too, when analyzed with some patience connecting the dots of reasons for that failure. That’s what inspired me to write those last lines.
