Colors of the Dark

My sky seems dark. 

Is it because of the missing star, or the overwhelming mix of all colors it splashed?

A simple perception is the arrival of night, wherein due to the absence of our closest star, we miss the dashing colors of the day.

This tiny tale can also be related to a painful episode in life, wherein life seems dark due to the absence of a close one who painted our days making them more beautiful.
