Is my brain befogged, or is everyone except me really looking out of focus?
Is this blurry veil meant to be the symptomatic inkling of isolation in a crowd?
Has the dark tunnel led me to a wonderland from which I’m not even sure if I could return back?
These questions are asked from the perspective of a dispirited mind that seeks escapism and refuses to solace itself with human interaction.
Inspired by Sonya’s ‘Three Line Tales #248’.
Seeking escapism… I know few people like that. Well penned Anisha

Exceptionally well put questions?
I think somewhere all of us have such questions in our mind.
Also I liked how you incorporated them into a 3 line tale.

Thanks for complimenting, Rashmi!
Yeah, most of us go through such trauma in difficult times and feel the need to be alone. And regarding the tale, I wrote this only as a fiction first. Only on completion, I noticed the other angle of inner dilemmas. I’m glad you liked it. ☺

At times, that dispirited person would be me…. you’ve put those thoughts really well in 3 lines💛💛

At times, I’ve also been there. It’s sad that so many of us are able to relate to it. Anyway, I believe we have the strength to find an exit from this wonderland.
Thanks for appreciating, Roshni. Have a good day ahead! ☺💙

I welcome your compliment. Thank you! Even on moody days, the clouds disperse. We just need to wait for the sunshine to arrive.
