Classical Elements:

Classical elements refer to the five forces of nature – Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Space – as specified in many cultures across the world, and are considered to be the basic constituents of anything existing in the universe.

This haiku, framed with the device ‘Apo Koinou’, depicts that all these natural elements can be found everywhere, beneath the water surface in the narrow lanes of Venice, as reflections, which are celebrated by the resting boats that sway to the tune of winds.
