once in a blue moon
sadness burdens to harass
freaking aches of heart
demented brain dithers
seized in between the demon
and the deep blue sea
water bed offers
an escape from feeling blue
satiating sorrowed souls
zest of parted friends
oceanic quest quenched offering
a whale of a time
blue ocean ripples
ambience of silent zen
calms mind and body
radiant smiles flare
under the infinite sky
serenity unfurls
When sadness burdens life, a trip to the beachside brings some peace clearing confusion. With friends along, it becomes an enjoyable experience. This series of haiku is all about how the oceanic blue calms and cures people feeling blue.
