Open-ended

Akash and his family decided to have some weekend fun. They were planning to do something that’s open-ended. That is, they perform and leave it on the remaining people to interpret.

Akash cooked a recipe.
His sister wrote a thriller fiction.
His dad drew an abstract painting.
His mom compiled a set of puzzles.

They came together after dinner.
It was time to decide the winner.

Akash was declared
“The champion”!
Did he cook so well?

Remember, I told you,
it was an open-ended competition!

Let’s rewind a bit.
Akash cooked.

His sister told it was Pulao;
His mom, as tomato rice;
His dad concluded it as fried rice.

What he intended to cook was
.
.
.
Biryani!
