Bristles started bleeding red.
Plate got stained.
It was her blood indeed.
Within the tiny heart,
she cut through
to carve her life,
to etch her love!
.
.
.
Finally, the piece of art got ready
to adorn her room.
Carved in the plate
were the short names
of her little family – her blood,
Dad, Mom and Her!

Such a lovely tribute. And just curious, was that a cake?

Thank you for the compliment, sir!
It isn’t a cake.
It’s a metallic board.
