This is in response to the ‘Weekend Writing Prompt’ by Sammi Cox. The word prompt for this week is ‘Fade’, and the challenge is to limit it to exactly 17 words.
——– Take 1 ——–
The box bought
minutes after her birth,
still remains,
in a faded form,
to mark her age!
——– Take 2 ——–
You have aged,
the same as me.
You look creepy,
with faded colour,
except for that smile!
Well that was really creative. I remember, I was a participant for the National poetry writing month and everyday I used to write on a prompt.
It’s difficult but fun.

Thank you, Sumeet!
Being consistent is really difficult. I appreciate your efforts! I have it in mind to write something for the April A-Z challenge for 2 years now, and it’s still in store for the next year.

Consistency is the key. Undoubtedly.
And this is amazing to know you choose such hard choices. Because I cannot write on instant prompt. I, at least, need a story for something to inspire me.

I chose this because an idea stroke, and I somehow managed to bring it within the prompt. I think a lot before choosing instant prompts, too!
