Isn’t gold precious? Then, why not be pure gold?
Pure gold, 24K, is lustrous and precious; but, it is soft. It is unsuitable for most applications including coinage and jewelry making.
When pure gold is mixed with traces of zinc, copper and nickel, it becomes stronger. It can still be called ‘Gold’. However, when these are added in greater quantities, gold loses its luster.
Likewise, we may lack grit if we’re too pure. We may be formless, when there are too much of impurities. So, accept the twists and turns of life, in right quantities, with an open heart. Maintain the purity of your heart and your identity to be both strong and bright. Balance matters!
Don’t get consumed, but prevail against circumstances!
Be an ornament, not pure gold!
