My Answers to the Questions from ‘Backtechinfo‘:
What do you think about this blogging world?
I consider this blogging world as a door to get through the interesting opinions and perspectives of many others. There are multitude of good people here, and it brings in immense pleasure in reading out new tales and experiences everyday.
What motivated you to start a blog and who encouraged you?
There was no exceptional motivation. It just started with some random discussion with a friend, as a combined effort during my college days. You can read Anjana’s (@anj0o) posts on CrazyNerds, following this link.
What do you want to change in this world? Why?
I wish the mentality of people who consider trees as a source of disturbance could be changed. That’s because of a bitter experience with a neighbour who chopped off 3 medium-sized trees that we preserved for more than 7 years, when my family was away. This incident stroke my mind seeing the Amazon fires, frequently in news.
What do you think about your followers?
I feel the co-bloggers I’ve come across are really sweet. They’ve extended help when required, showered words of encouragement on posts. These subtle signs of affection bring in joy. There have been many times I’ve admired the creativity expressed by them, and keeping the readers hooked to the content. It’s a pleasure to be part of this healthy community.
Are you enjoying blogging? Reason.
Of course, I enjoy blogging a lot. I agree, I’m not a regular blogger. This is one of my hobbies. But, whenever I step in here, there are always people to welcome back.
Which is your favourite book and why?
I’m more into Tamil novels and English fictions. The book I’ve enjoyed to the core in each page so far is the historical novel ‘Ponniyin Selvan‘, also in Tamil language. It was like, the book has taken me through ages. I lived completely in the 10th and 11th century, enjoying the scenes and culture over there; watching the plots as if they were happening in real-time, that it’s impact cannot be expressed in words. The author Kalki Krishnamurthy continues to be a legend even in the present times.
Is technology a good thing or bad thing? And, why?
Technology is a heavenly gift to human race. The ball’s in our court, and so, using it in a courteous way lies in our hands.
Is your life in balance?
It’s not a perfect balance, but still it is somewhere closer to satisfactory.
Share any one of your experience, which changed you .
My time in a hostel at a new city for a year brought in numerous good changes to my personality.
